Hello PWS Families,

Thanks to all of you who came out last night for a wonderful Principal's Reading Night. Mrs. Daley and Pete the Cat certainly appreciated the company.

Jump Rope Assembly
 This week we had a visit from the Londonderry jump rope team the Hip Hoppin Hawks.  They came to kick off  OUR JUMP ROPE FOR HEART event that will start in March.    This is a fundraiser for the American Heart Association that helps many children with heart issues.   More information will be coming home in March about how to make a donation.  During the presentation students were so excited to see the students jump roping.  There were conversations among them like, "That is so cool!" and "I want to learn to do that!"

Morning Parent Drop Off
We really would appreciate you having your children ready to get out when you pull up to the curb for morning drop off.  There is a line that piles up and we want to get students out so they can have time to interact with their friends and be ready for the school day.  Thanks for your cooperation in this matter. Also, please note that once the flag is out you must go to the front of the building to drop off your child. Please do not enter at the maintenance shed and then enter the line.

Parenting New Hampshire's Summer Camp & Program 

Expos bring together representatives from over 50 traditional day, overnight, abroad, sports, dance, arts and educational camps in New Hampshire and beyond.

The Summer Camp & Program Expos are free to the public and will be held at two convenient locations in Nashua and Manchester.

These interactive events allow parents and their children the one-on-one opportunity to speak directly with camp representatives about their summer camps and programs.

Parenting New Hampshire's Summer Camp & Program Expos will be held from 10am - 1pm at the following dates and locations:

"2014 BSD Deliberative Session, Tuesday, February 4 @ 7:00 pm

The Bedford School District 2014 Deliberative Session, Session I, will be held on Tuesday, February 4 @ 7:00 pm in the Bedford High School Theater. The purpose of the meeting will be to review the FY2015 BSD Warrant. Those in attendance at the Deliberative Session may make revisions to any articles on the warrant. Any revisions to the warrant must be approved by the majority of registered voters in attendance that evening.  The warrant, as revised by the voters at the Deliberative Session, is then considered by voters at Session II.
The all day ballot vote, Session II, will be Tuesday, March 11 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Bedford High School gymnasium. We encourage all registered voters to attend both sessions of the Annual Town Meeting and to vote. If you will not be able to vote on March 11, the application for an absentee ballot is available on the Town of Bedford website ... http://www.bedfordnh.org/pages/BedfordNH_Clerk/absenteeballots. The process is very simple and straight forward.
