We hope you are all having a excellent Fall season, where it feels like winter in morning, summer at recess, and fall to go to bed. Please keep an eye on the weather and have the students dressed appropriately for outdoor recess.
The latest edition of the PWS Tattle Tale is out. A special thank you to Mrs. Dainesi, Mrs. Poltronieri, and Mrs. Gordon for working so hard to put this newsletter together.
Today, Mrs. Kane's fourth grade class along with Mrs. Speaker took part in the Global Cardboard Challenge. This activity had students creating wonderful games, activities, and inventions from simple cardboard boxes. Here are some photos of the event.

Box Tops For Education Program
We have been thrilled to see so many students bringing in their Box Tops! Our first collection date of the year will be on Friday, October 16, when we will tally up the numbers received to-date per teacher and mail in our Box Tops. Stay tuned… we will post the final counts in November!
This is an ongoing year-long program, so please continue sending your Box Tops into the school. If you have not done so already, reach out to your family and friends to clip their Box Tops too. If you are Sam's Club member, refer to the Sam's Club website to see how you can earn money for our school by uploading your receipts. Finally, you can help win thousands of Box Tops by logging into www.btfe.com and entering monthly raffles!
