  PWS PrinciPal’s News

We are a community that inspires and develops, engaged, successful learners every chance, every day.

Peter Woodbury School-A Place Where People Care!

September 3rd, 2021

Dear PWS Families,

Wow, the first full week of school is in the books! It has been amazing to watch our students get readjusted to life back at PWS and connect with their new classmates and teachers. The building certainly comes alive when we have all of our PWS community back in session. Mrs. Daley and Mr. Robitaille enjoyed their time visiting kindergarten, first grade and second grade classrooms to talk about what makes a strong community. They look forward to working with third and fourth graders next week.

Mrs. Clark’s fourth grade class began the year writing some awesome poetry and displaying it in the hallway for all to see. We can tell the students enjoyed the “I Wish You More” prompt that was provided.

We hope that everyone has a safe and happy Labor Day weekend. This is a reminder that there will be no school on Monday, September 6. Please take a moment to read up on all that is going on at PWS and around the Bedford School District.

Families, please remember that your student will need to wear a mask while riding the school bus. It is a good idea to have some extras in their backpack.

Anti-Bullying Partnership Agreement:

Please keep an eye out for a document going home with your child next week about bullying. The District Bullying Task Force developed a Partnership Agreement among students, teachers, and families to better understand and address student conflict, and what is and is not considered bullying.  We are asking all families to read, discuss, and sign this document to help ensure a happy, safe, and nurturing environment for all. Please click HERE if you would like an electronic copy of that agreement.
