Friday September 25, 2014

Dear Peter Woodbury Families,

We have had a very exciting week here at Peter Woodbury School. It started on Monday with a visit for our fourth graders from the Audubon Society. The students were enthralled by exciting facts about bats. He even had some great visuals to enhance the experience.

On Wednesday, all students attended a presentation by Officer Phil, learning about how to stay safe inside and outside of school.

Also, our fourth graders made it into the news. Here is the link to Kevin Skarupa's mention on the WMUR Morning News regarding his visit last week: Fourth Graders on WMUR

Finally, it was great to see so many students express their appreciation and gratitude towards our dining room staff on Thursday, which was food service worker appreciation day!

Bus Evacuations
All students that ride the bus this Tuesday, September 30 in the AM will participate in a bus evacuation drill. This is a safety exercise we do with the students twice a year. Thank you in advance.

PWS Gear Due Tuesday, September 30
An order form went home earlier this week for PWS gear. Now is the time to get the orders in for these great shirts, sweatshirts, and pants. A portion of the proceeds benefit our school. Please return these order forms and payments to the office by this Tuesday, September 30th. It will be so great to see the students wear their PWS pride all around Bedford.

Masquerade Ball Info

Plans for the Masquerade Ball are well under way and excited chatter echoes in the halls....

Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, October 1 on a first come first served basis.  We will be using an online Google form to reserve your seat, and submitted payment will confirm it!  Watch for the link to appear on the PWS web page on Wednesday!!

Many hands make light work!  We'd welcome any help in the preparations or donations for the silent auction.

Looking forward to an exciting and engaging evening....
