Dear PWS Families,

Hello, We hope you have a great long, holiday weekend. This week we ended on a fun note, with the sliming of Mrs. Daley. Doesn't she look great?

Summer Skills Workbooks

As the end of the school year approaches many parents begin to ask, "What can I do to keep my child's skills sharp over the summer?"  We are once again offering a resource to help practice skills learned this year. Tri-C Publications publishes workbooks called Summer Skill Sharpeners for grades K-8, in mathematics and language arts.  These workbooks are good, quick ways to review what was learned throughout the school year.  Since these books are meant to reinforce skills learned during the school year, it is recommended that your child's current grade level be ordered.  If you wish to order any of these workbooks please complete the order form below and send in a check made out to Peter Woodbury School.  Each books costs $17.  All orders are due by Wednesday, May 27th.
If you'd like more information about the books, you can visit Tri-C Publications' website at www.summerskills.com.

VOLUNTEER BREAKFAST
This is an important reminder about the Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast on June 5th at 9:00.  We welcome all volunteers to express our appreciation for all you do to make PWS the special place that it is.

PTG Year in Review

The Bedford Parent Teacher Group (PTG) invites you to join us for our final event of the school year:
YEAR IN REVIEW WITH
THE BEDFORD PRINCIPALS
Thursday, May 28, 2015
9:30am - 11:00am
Town Meeting Room at the BCTV Studios
10 Meetinghouse Road

Enjoy refreshments and spend your morning with the principals from all six Bedford schools. Following a brief presentation with highlights from the school year, there will be a time reserved for questions, answers, and discussion. This is also a great opportunity to learn about current PTG openings within the district and at each individual school. Come see how you can get involved in 2015-2016!

Do you have a question for the principals?
Please submit any questions you may have in advance of the reception directly to Missy Joyce or Adrienne Allen and we will present them along with any others voiced at the meeting.

Young children are most welcome. We look forward to thanking you in person for all of your tremendous support this past year!
