Dear PWS Families,

This has been an exciting week.  Fourth graders had their annual trip to The Flume and Egg Day was today! The second graders took their annual trip to Squam Lake.  Kindergarten is getting ready for their graduation and first grade is finishing up chapter books.  Third grade has been talking about the moon, sun and stars.  We continue to learn as the last day of school will soon arrive.

2015-2016 McKelvie Volunteer
We have the first request for Student Directory Volunteers. This directory is one of the best opportunities that parents  have to access the information for their children's classmates.  It was through the tireless efforts of a few of our new parents -- Colleen Gagne, Kristy Lamont and Barbara Chagnon -- that this product was again a success.  We'd like to thank not only these three, but also Dawne Altemus, who, although she no longer has a child at McKelvie, very willingly shared her time and talents to help put this Directory together.  Kristy, Barbara and Colleen are not sure if they will be able to give their time to get a directory together for 2015-2016 and they are seeking volunteers to organize over the summer to be working on it when school gets back into swing in the fall.  It is hoped we can find someone proficient in either Word or Excel as these two programs are key in getting this product together.  Both of these programs are used only for data manipulation, no math skills needed.  Please contact Barbara at bchagnon80@gmail.com if you're interested in helping out.  Thank you!!!
