Dear PWS Families,
Hello we are counting down the days until our Halloween parade. Seven days to go and you can feel the excitement in the air at PWS. Another cute story: I was sitting at a table this week with four Kindergarten students, I love to just sit and listen. The topic of the group was who had the sharpest pencil. We completed another fire drill yesterday and exited the building and all students and adults were accounted for in 4 minutes! This week we focused the lunchtime talks on Food Allergy Awareness. The messages were about understanding food allergies and today the students were shown a video regarding food allergies, the second grade will see this video on Monday.

PWS Happenings
Veterans Day Celebration
PWS will be having an All School Meeting on Tuesday, November 10th at 1:30 to celebrate Veterans Day.  We would love to involve students' family members that are veterans or active military in this event. Please spread the word as well if anyone you would like to attend this event.  More information will be coming regarding signing up.

Our school is going to have a drive to support our troops by sending holiday packages.  Please see link below with more details.  We appreciate your support with this.

Scarecrow Jubilee
On Thursday, the students and staff at PWS got to experience the 2nd grade Scarecrow Parade. There was so much excitement especially from the first graders who were jumping up and down (literally) anticipating making their scarecrow next year. That night we had a second grade Scarecrow Jubilee. This included festive music, scarecrow displays, and apple crisp with cider.
