June 8, 2018

PWS Families,
To say this week has been busy and exciting would be an understatement. We have had field trips, end of the year planning, Kindergarten rehearsal, and of course our annual Field Day. Thank you to Mrs. Ferenc and all of the parent volunteers who made the day so special for the students. We think it may have been our most successful one yet. We understand that this is a busy time for all of you, so we thank you for sharing your children with us.

Today, our News180 team released their last broadcast of the year. Congratulations to Mrs. Correia and her news team for their hard work in putting together these fantastic broadcasts. Please enjoy this month's episode in the link below.

Finally, we want to take a moment to say thank you to all of you for all that you have done to make this a truly wonderful school year. Next week will be our last blog for the school year so we wanted to make sure you knew our thanks and gratitude for all that you do to support our work, encourage the children, and make PWS the best school to work, learn, and to grow. Thank You!

Have a Great Weekend,
Cheryl Daley (Principal)
Dan Mitchell (Assistant Principal)

Destination Imagination Fundraiser - Duct Tape Mr. Mitchell to the Wall!
As you know two of our DI teams are fundraising to help defray the cost of traveling to Knoxville, TN later this month. They have a very creative fundraising idea - for just $1, a student can buy a strip of duct tape to tape Mr. Mitchell to the wall. Teachers will be collecting the $1 and will write the student's name on a list to receive the strip of duct tape at a date TBD.
Students may buy a maximum of 5 strips. Please help us make this a successful fundraiser for our teams.

Here’s an idea of what it may look like:
