Peter Woodbury School- A Place Where People Care!
January 24, 2020
Dear PWS Families,
Last night was the annual Principals' Winter Read Night. It is one of our favorite nights each year. It was great to see so many students come out and hear our story about the giraffe and his long neck. Thank you to the PTG for putting together this wonderful event. Thank you to everyone who came out and made this event so special.
As a reminder, student report cards are now available on the Powerschool Parent Portal. For a reminder about how to access this portal please click HERE.

PWS Family Fun Night 2020
Peter Woodbury School invites you to our annual Family Fun Night on Thursday, February 6th (with a snow day of Thursday, February 20th).  Our theme this year will be Taking Care of Mind, Body, and Each Other. Games and activities, for all ages, will be offered throughout the school for students and families to engage in and have fun.
As always, each classroom will donate a unique theme basket to raffle off that night. Our popular teacher raffle will be there too! Advanced sale of these raffle tickets are discounted and sold as three blocks for $10.00.  The night of the event we will sell the tickets for $5.00 a block. The Book Walk will be held in the Multipurpose Room ($1 per ticket). The Book Walk is set up on the idea of musical chairs. Kids will walk around in a circle and try to be on a circle when the music stops. We are also selling 50/50 tickets.  Fifty percent of the money raised through this raffle will go directly back to the winner!
Pizza, salad, ice cream, and water will be served. We advise families to purchase food tickets in advance.  This will guarantee your food and water selections. Food will not be available to purchase the night of the event. If you would like to purchase food tickets, raffle tickets, book walk tickets, or 50/50 tickets please fill out the attached order form and return it to school no later than Wednesday, January 29th.
Important Note:  Pre-ordered tickets will NOT be sent home this year. ALL tickets will be picked up that night.
