Hello PWS Families,

Happy Valentine's Day!  Hopefully children got time to play and enjoy the snow day yesterday!  Today, students were ready to be back at school.  Students came in with smiles ready for the day.   One boy was talking about how his mom made him wear red!  Students were walking down the hall trying to balance snow gear, Valentine boxes and backpacks.

Parenting New Hampshire's Summer Camp & Program Expo
This Expo brings together representatives from over 50 traditional day, overnight, abroad, sports, dance, arts and educational camps in New Hampshire and beyond. The Summer Camp & Program Expos are free to the public and will be held at two convenient locations in Nashua and Manchester.
These interactive events allow parents and their children the one-on-one opportunity to speak directly with camp representatives about their summer camps and programs.  Parenting New Hampshire's Summer Camp & Program Expos will be held from 10am - 1pm at the following dates and locations:
March 8, 2014 - The Derryfield Country Club  625 Mammoth Road, Manchester, NH
March 15, 2014 - The Courtyard Marriott  2200 Southwood Drive, Nashua NH

YMCA Camp Foss and Camp Mi-Te-Na
Camp Mi-Te-Na, in its 101st year, and Camp Foss, in its 91st year, have been providing boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 15 a home away from home where they can have a great time, be themselves, and develop self confidence, independence, and decision making and team building skills in a fun, safe setting.

Voting
We know it is a little bit early but we want to remind all students and parents that Town Elections, including the School Warrants is on March 11th.  In addition, the students will have the chance to vote on what to name our school mascot, the penguin.

Just a reminder that Invention Convention is this Monday.  Students and parents can drop off projects starting at 7:30 am.  Parent visitation is between 10:30 am-11:10 am.

We are working hard to teach the students that recycling is important.  Please help us reinforce this message at home.  As always, we appreciate your cooperation.

We wish you a wonderful weekend,

Cheryl Daley               Dan Mitchell
