May 5, 2017

Dear PWS Families,
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week. It was a wonderful way to return from April Vacation. The morning treats, gift bags, raffles, coffee cart, luncheon, and dessert buffet certainly showed the teachers and staff your appreciation. A special thank you to the PTG and all those involved in making this a truly special week for all of us.

PWS Happenings
Mother/Son Fun Night
Tonight is the second annual Mother/ Son Night, while the weather does not seem to be cooperating with this being outdoor, we still are planning for a fun evening of games, dancing, dodge ball, and ice cream.  There is chatter in the school among the boys about what they are going to do with their moms. No matter what their preference will be, we hope there will be something for everyone and this will be a special evening for all.

From Our Nurse Mrs. Ewing
It is that time of year again, where the children are outside enjoying themselves. It is also that time where ticks reappear. It is recommended that all parents do daily tick checks to prevent any of these fun friends from coming into the school.

Spring 2017 Garden Club
This is open to Grades TWO through FOUR after school on Thursdays from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. on the following dates:

Maximum Number of Students: 25
Registration is first come, first served and will close 5/5. Please use this link to register your child.  A suggested donation of $25 (payable to PWS) is appreciated to help in sustaining the gardens and buying supplies.
