Dear PWS Families,

We want to thank you all for raising such wonderful children!  Today during our morning and afternoon Veterans assembly the students were quiet and respectful.  It honestly brought tears to our eyes thinking about how these students are our future.  During this meeting we raised our new American flag outside of the school. A special thank you to Mrs. Beltramo who created a moving ceremony for the students. Also, we want to thank Mrs. Meisner and the Cub Scouts of Pack 114 for their flag folding and handling skills. As of today Peter Woodbury School will now have a flag flying outside of our school 24 hours a day.

As the weather begins to turn please make sure that the students are prepared for any weather they may encounter. The students will be sent out to recess if weather permits and the temperature is about 20. Please make sure your child has the appropriate clothing to be comfortable, warm, and safe.

The Drowsy Chaperone is a musical with book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar (Second City Alum) and music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison. It is a parody of American musical comedy of the 1920s. The story concerns a middle-aged, asocial musical theatre fan; as he plays the record of his favorite musical, the (fictional) 1928 hit The Drowsy Chaperone, the show comes to life onstage as he wryly comments on the music, story, and actors.
