Dear PWS Families,

We would like to begin by saying a heartfelt thank you: The PWS School Family wants to thank you for the outpouring of kindness during this difficult time. Your cards, flowers, food, and kind words have helped us feel your support and love. Our school is a strong and connected community that rallies together through the good times and bad. We have such gratitude to all that reached out over the last week and kept the school and staff in their thoughts. We will miss Tim Doherty and he will always remain in our hearts and memories.

PWS News:

Report Cards:

Quarter 2 report cards will be available to view on Friday, January 22nd at 2:45 PM.  A reminder that this will be Grade 1's first report card of the year. Student report cards are available online only in the PowerSchool Parent Access Portal.  To access your child's report card online, log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal and you will see a Report Cards icon in the left hand pane.  When you click on this icon your child's report card will appear on the screen.  You can scroll to see the entire report card and choose to print it, if you'd like.  Anytime you click on the Report Cards icon, the most recent report card will generate. 

Food Drive Results: 

Peter Woodbury School is so very thankful for the outpouring of support for the annual food drive. Collectively, the PWS community was able to donate 2,025 pounds of food, which amounts to 1,687 meals for those in need. We would like to thank you all for your generosity and supporting this wonderful cause! A big shout out and thank you to Mrs. Lombo for organizing this event!

PRINCIPAL WINTER READING NIGHT:  

NEW DATE! On January 28th at 6:30 p.m. our principals are coming to you! Dress in your PJ’s, settle down with a snack in the comfort of your home, then tune in to BCTV (channel 23) to hear our principals read you a story!  This is sure to be a fun-filled family event. COLOR BLAST FUN RUN/WALK:  

We're bringing the Color Blast Fun Run/Walk to your front door! Just because things are a little different this year doesn't mean we can't have any fun. Join us for a virtual Color Blast Fun Run/Walk over the week of May 22. We will miss throwing color at you, but we'll make sure you have enough color to throw at your family :) Stay tuned for more details.
