Dear PWS Families,

We hope that you all had a wonderful week and enjoyed the recent long weekend! It is amazing to think that we have moved into the second half of the school year and the start of Quarter Three! There has been so much growth and awesome student work that has gone on since the start of the year in August. As a staff, we recognize the uniqueness of this particular school year but try to stop and appreciate all the good that has gone on for the students of PWS. Last night we taped our Principal Winter Read. Make sure you watch it on Jan. 28th at 6:30 on BCTV.

Please take a moment to check in on some updates from around the PWS community. We hope you have a safe and happy weekend!

PWS News:

Report Cards:

Quarter 2 report cards are now available to view. A reminder that this will be Grade 1's first report card of the year. Student report cards are available online only in the PowerSchool Parent Access Portal.  To access your child's report card online, log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal and you will see a Report Cards icon in the left hand pane.  When you click on this icon your child's report card will appear on the screen.  Please click HERE for a visual tutorial.

PTG News:

PRINCIPAL WINTER READING NIGHT:

On January 28th at 6:30 p.m. our principals are coming to you! Dress in your PJ’s, settle down with a snack in the comfort of your home, then tune in to BCTV (channel 23) to hear our principals read you a story!  This is sure to be a fun-filled family event. Please click HERE for details.

COLOR BLAST FUN RUN/WALK:

We're bringing the Color Blast Fun Run/Walk to your front door! Just because things are a little different this year doesn't mean we can't have any fun. Join us for a virtual Color Blast Fun Run/Walk over the week of May 22. We will miss throwing color at you, but we'll make sure you have enough color to throw at your family :) Stay tuned for more details.

STAY CONNECTED TO THE PTG:

Please visit our PTG WEBSITE and follow us on social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) to see all the exciting things happening in our schools. Thank you for your support!

Again, enjoy a safe and happy long weekend! We will see you next week!
