Dear PWS Families,
What an incredible first week at Peter Woodbury! The students and staff are excited to be back to school and the business of routines, learning, and forming new friendships. Watching the students run, skip, jump, roll and laugh during recesses put smiles on all of our faces. We loved hearing about the wonderful things students did this summer! With this much energy and excitement, we are certain it is going to be a wonderful school year.
Blog posts will be sent out weekly (on Friday afternoon). You may notice the format has changed slightly as we work to make the flow of information easier to follow. The blog has sections that are similar to last year. For this first blog, we have included a brief description under each section header. A section may not be included if there is no news or announcements for that week.
We hope that this blog opens and maintains a great line of communication between the school and our families. Please feel free to reach out at any time if either of us can be of any assistance. We recognize the importance of everyone working together to ensure your child’s success. We look forward to meeting all of you in some way throughout this year.

Parent Pick Up Slips
Many parents asked for their parent pick up slip to be laminated for permanent use. These slips will be sent home today in your child’s backpack. If you will be a regular parent pick up and would like a permanent slip please let the duty teacher at parent pick up know and we will make one for you.
School Pictures
School picture day will be September 19th. Information and order forms will be sent home next week. Please check your child’s GO Binder for more information.

Harlem Wizards v. Lurgio Lions Fundraiser - Tickets on Sale Now!
On September 22, at 6:30 PM in the Bedford High School Gymnasium staff from the Bedford School District will face-off against the Harlem Wizards basketball team.
