PWS PrinciPal’s News
We are a community that inspires and develops, engaged, successful learners every chance, every day.
April 5, 2019

Dear PWS Families,
Sometimes we hear things that are just too cute not to share. This week a first grader came into Mrs. Ewing's office complaining about how his lips hurt. He came in looking for "gasoline" for his lips. Mrs. Ewing gave him some Vaseline and that seemed to do the trick.
Last week's Daughter's Night was a huge success. It was great to see our students come back to school for a fancy night out with their special adult. Thank you to the many parent volunteers who came out to make this night successful.
Mrs. Piantedosi and her team of helpers continue to get the school ready for the upcoming Art Show. The halls are looking colorful and we can't wait for the show. Remember, this year's Art show will be on Thursday, April 18th. Please click this link for more information.
The Book Fair is up and running. Two very friendly dinosaurs were spotted around the building this morning getting the students excited. We hope many of you can come out and support the PTG with this fundraiser.
Congratulations to two of our fourth graders, Emme Underwood and Isabella Charland who won best in grade at the Northern New England Invention Convention last Sunday. They are now eligible to submit their inventions to the National Invention Convention competition to be held in May in Deerborn, Michigan.
Finally, report cards are now available on the Parent Portal. We know most of you will be coming in for conferences over the next few weeks, however if you would like to access the reports here is a quick presentation to remind you how. Accessing the Parent Portal.

Have a Great Weekend,

Classrooms are staffed by certified educators with a background in early childhood and special education.  In addition, our staff includes a licensed speech and language pathologist, a speech assistant, licensed occupational therapist, occupational therapy assistant, licensed physical therapist, classroom assistants and a program coordinator.  Educational consultants are available as needed. Throughout a BEEP day, each classroom has a teacher and assistant at all times, and other therapists and paraprofessionals may join the classroom periodically.
